We returned from Brussels proud and more committed than ever to continuing our work on <\/span>European Commission-funded projects<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was remarkable to witness the gratitude expressed by our partners in<\/span> SHARED GREEN DEAL<\/span><\/a> and<\/span> SSH Centre<\/span><\/a> towards the <\/span>Acento Comunicaci\u00f3n<\/b> (Acentoline Comunicaci\u00f3n Editora SL) team. Mar\u00eda Torres Sen\u00e9s, Sonia Moreno Molinero, and Gustavo Bernal received direct, in-person praise from consortium partners for the graphic design work and video production delivered across both projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

Communication as a driver of European Research impact<\/b><\/h3>\n

The closing event of SSH CENTRE brought together high-level speakers who underscored a point at the heart of what we do at Acento: <\/span>communication is not peripheral to European research projects \u2014 it is essential to their impact<\/b>. For scientific and policy results to reach citizens, policymakers, and the media, they must be translated, visualised, and disseminated with the same rigour applied to the research itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

This recognition, coming from the closing event of a Horizon Europe project we have co-led since 2022, reaffirms our conviction that high-quality communication and dissemination work packages are a strategic asset for any European research consortium.<\/span><\/p>\n

Granada, remembered<\/b><\/h3>\n

One of the most gratifying moments of the trip came when <\/span>75% of SSH Centre consortium partners cited the consortium meeting we organised in Granada as one of the best experiences of the entire project<\/b>. Hosting an international research consortium in our city, and doing so in a way that left a lasting impression on partners from across Europe, is something our team will carry with pride.<\/span><\/p>\n

A partnership built since 2017<\/b><\/h3>\n

Brussels also meant spending time alongside <\/span>Rosie Robison and Chris Foulds<\/b>, who lead the exceptional team at<\/span> Anglia Ruskin University<\/span><\/a> \u2014 our co-leaders on SSH CENTRE . Our collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University stretches back to 2017, across multiple Horizon Europe and H2020 projects. Few working relationships in our professional history have been as rewarding.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks also to <\/span>Inma Garrido<\/b> for providing real-time online coverage of the events in Brussels, and to <\/span>Natalia M\u00e9rida<\/b>, who held the fort managing the rest of Acento’s active projects back home.<\/span><\/p>\n
